I bought a set of projector headlights a year ago and a pair of h1 hid's. I wanted to put them in the projector side but the housing would not let them fit. I have been since then trying to figure out how to make them fit. I was curious to see if anyone has made them fit and knew what i had to do..

The hole that the bulb goes into is rectanglish and the wire that is on the side of the bulb will not let it turn and seat properly. Im not sure if they will even work so i figured i would ask.

yes but it will prolly melt the housing. most proj housings arent rated for the HID

 

Retrofitted HID projectors will fit if you do them right. IDK about the melting of the lens. The ones I know who have melted thiers were tinted lens.
