and sorry ramhunter, i couldnt resist that quote for my sig...
Thats what I was thinking, but since the truck is still financed they said no. Check is made out straight to the body shop to protect the banks investment... Its gotta get fixed, and $4000 is to do it right and make it like new. for another $200, i can get my front bumper replaced and painted since its been chipped bad from the day it got it. so... $700 out of my pocket and it will be like new again. And, there is a chance the ins. co can recover my deductible from the other driver. So, just tryin to make arrangements for the 2 week downtime and its goin in the shop.

Hammer, since my truck is down for the weekend with spring, etc swap and all....can I borrow your truck for a few hours? I mean...just gotta get a 80' oak tree I cut down moved, don't worry...the path leading to it is only a 6% grade, not too slick and I always stay away from the edge as it's..well...only like a 20' embankment...to a river.

OP...sorry to see the the damage, at least your loved ones are ok.

I didnt have rental car ins, and thats the main problem right now. no way to commute for 2 weeks and dont wanna fork out $$$ for a rental myself. waitin for the gf's car to get running again. The only damn purchase that got put off because of this was my glock 9mm ive been wanting forever. and i finally had the money.......Well thats how it always goes huh!
