If you have a factory warranty and have ANY sort of cooling problem from overheating..etcc, the dealer will try to deny, deny, deny. It will depend on the problem that occurs and your relationship with your dealer.
It's definately one of those things that could be an iffy situation and not something I have jumped on because of.

The fact is that the dealer has no way of knowing if the fan being used is sufficient enough to provide enough cooling to the engine even if it was and is working. I know we all say go pull a fan from XXX vehicle and get XXXwiring, but they could refuse warranty for that reason alone.

I thought about the Taurus route but then decided to ordered the Black Magic from Moe's two weeks ago and am still waiting for it to come in (USPS and Canada Post) should be here next week. Can't wait to see if I will feel any increase in power. With the clutch fan I hit about 210/220 on my guage in summer heat with headers and the 180 stat, we'll see if that improves or not. I do think that perhaps the truck may warm up a bit sooner too in winter.
