guys im having trouble getting cats on, meinike turned it down when they took my cats off without permission the 1st time, i went to another exhaust shop and hes putting the cat on the passenger side where the o2 sensors are is it ok too have cat on one side and not the other, my neibor says he will pass it if he see a cat on there ?? wil it make unequal back pressure and hurt the motor ?

yea, in WV ur tires cant stick out past ur fenders, every vehicle i had i had to buy a seperate set of rims so i can change them to get them inspected every year, with my new dodge, i am gonna have to buy flares, put mufflers on, and take my tint off just to pass in june.... its gonna suck

i tend to agree. once of the reasons i kept my state of residence as SD was because there are emissions laws. if that's the case, then i'll just change to MO. they need to oust the CINC

Do you have an x or h pipe or something along those lines? I would think that with that the pressure has somewhere else to go and would to some extent equalize the pressure created by the added cat?

So (if I screw something up correct me) you have the manifolds/headers or w/e going to a y-pipe? Your asking if you can put a cat on after the manifold/headers before the y? I would say no if I have this figured out right, that would cause some issues i would think.

edit: this just crossed my mind also, you could gut the cats if it's just a visual inspection and the state idiots would never know the difference till you fired it up lol
