If I manage to find LT's that will work, I'll prolly end up runnin em open headers to the exhaust shop and then havin the rest of it all installed.

I would try and take that heatshield off the header. it's helds on by seperate nuts on the header bolts. So, you can take that off without unbolting the header(mine was like that anyways) as I think it's rattling not leaking???

For the leak just before the muffler....On my piece when I removed it I had a really hard time and had only 600miles at the time...lol Chrysler clamped the u-bolt so tight it actually bent and creased the 2 pipes together so they didn't wanna seperate when I got that clamp off. Took a skinny screwdriver and a lot of wiggling back and forth to get that sumb*tch off. There was also a small tab on the top that stos the exhaust from twisting, so you need to pull it out about 1/4" before you can start any twisting motion. Yours maybe a litle diff, but that's how mine was.

You could prob just go down to aa local muffler shop have them scuff that area and just weld thew 2 pipes together, then no more leak.
