New issue today. seems my Cassette/CD radio is not working.
Or is it the amp behind the glovebox.
I push the power button out and sometimes get some music for a few minutes.
Then nothing.
It appears the head unit works just fine as far as program info and stations.
How do I tell if it is a bad amp or a bad head unit?

Infinity badged sound system with 7 speakers that all work when I am getting sound.

I dread rewiring everything or tearing my dash apart for a new intall of aftermarket tunage!

 

sounds like the amp went bad... when sound is cutting out its usually the amp going into to safe mode...

 

usually its the amp the head units's are almost bullet proof

Easy to find OEM replacement?
I am not having much luck finding one atm.
Or am I better off with something else?
I am not an Audiophile.
So stock is OK with me as long as it involves less stuck fingertips.
