Wasn't a kit....bought the muffler off of summitracing.com and the y pipe off of amazon.com and i bought the rest: clamps, extra pipe, turndown, etc. at a local shop.

Hey, Question for you, I currently Have an 05 Ram with the 4.7 with a Flowmasters Super 40 Dual Exhaust. It sounds decent to me, but I cant get over one thing and that is the drone inside the cab anytime over 2k rpms. I am Looking to swap the muffler with something that will give me similar performance but let drone... Do you get much Drone with the Borla Setup you have?

That drone is from the forties you own, it's hard too get a good sound and no drone, my 50's accomplish it but you sacrifice tone. ( by tone i mean loudness btw). funny where are the cat's?!? Too bad we in the rest of the fifty states cannot do what the op has done.

The "cat" is in the factory location, right where the two headers meet, right under the passenger seat. and yeah, I have been thinking about the 50 series the most. Does it still sound decent?
