Removed rear bumper getting ready to install roll pan!
No i didnt have to weld anything. As long as the ubolts are tight then you shouldnt have a problem. i have read on here where some ppl said that the rear end moved around and honestly it shouldnt move none if its tight. I used loctite and i torqued them down pretty snug.. Its been 2 years and the nuts havent backed off yet.
This is just information, not trying to tell anyone what they should do. When I spoke to Bob at Moe's about buying the drop kit he mentioned that it had been reported that there had been folks who had rotated the axle while under acceleration. The original spring pads are now on top and the new spring saddle pushes up under the original spring pad. This is not how the original pad was designed to take the rotational load. It is no big deal to swing by a weld shop after the install and have them throw a weld on it.

Good luck...

Good luck...
Also, when I had the front end aligned the alignment shop could only get the camber and toe-in within spec. This shop came highly recommended by a off road shop that only did lifts. The truck drove terrible. I bought the Caster/Camber adjusters kits needed to have the control to properly make the necessary adjustments. I found an alignment shop with state of the art equipment and had it re-aligned. The truck now drives better than new. OBTW, you will need a kit for each wheel. (2). The kits are needed to align the front properly. Good luck..
No i didnt get to take pictures, i didnt have a camera at the time. It took me like an hour to do the flip kit. it was fairly easy. I thought i was going to have to have the camber kit but the 06 model has the adjustable cambers. It would have cost me $250 installed.. And Red i now see how this could happen after you explained it. I may check on mine and put a couple of welds on it. never can be too safe. Sorry about that AZ.
Jay- my cousin did the seafoam for me and he said he pulled the "brake booster" vac house off and put the seafoam in there. Im not sure if it really is called a brake booster but ive heard that on other you tube seafoam videos to.
