I don't think 24 is too long. It will be too long for the stock shroud but make your own reservoir bottles from abs and call it good.

oh nvm, you said 27. I was gonna say, I think my taurus fan is at least 24 inches. I can measure for you later.

oe the intrepid fan is only 27x14 rectangle with 2 fans....our trucks rad is 24x20 and smaller to fit the stock shroud....ill keep hunting....does anyone know if any of the ford ranger fans are the same as a taurus fan?

I havent looked at the rad in detail yet but does having the extra 1.5" stick out each side really matter that much??

yeah cause my intake heatsheild is right there on the pass side and my a/c condenser fan is to the drivers side....so it kinda has to fit under the 24" mark....

Dorman makes Taurus fans for like $90 or so brand new...I'd go that route over junkyard anyday.
The dual fans won't cut it unless they both run. I believe one is for high and other is for low, so unless you were to wire up the high as your low and have the low come on with the high for high...lol If you followed???

I'll sell you my Brand New Genuine Motorcrap one...???

smkn,...yeah the junkyards around here have plenty of 3.0l ones but everyone i talk to there have said as soon as they get em they are gone cause everyone and there brother use em as efan mods....well i kinda laxed on looking for the time being i have a cpl things ranking higher right now and i was talking to my mom and her intrepid took a dump again and she had a donor given to her for parts but shes junkin em both and finding a newer car/truck so she knew i was looking and asked if i or i knew somebody who wanted them.....dirty if i go that route with a brandy new one its gonna have to wait a lil bit....
