Question Melted. Any Suggestions??

Looked under my truck the other day, appears that my harness for the 02 sensor popped off its holder and was melted by the exhaust.

What should I do, try and find a harness at a junk yard and splice it in?

Not the greatest picture- but it is something to go off of.

Any Ideas?

where the 02 sensor male connector plugs into the wiring harness female connector, top left, it is all melted together and wires are melted. Sorry about the crummy picture.

I think you are on track with finding a wire in the salvage yard and splicing it. Good luck..

Just get an o2 extension and use that for the splice.

F*ck it if you ain't gettin a CEL. Wrap it in some electrical tape, tie wrap it out of harms way and don't worry about it unless you pop a code...
