yea it wasnt coming OFF...because I think it was IN my paint. I did the little water ring test, there was definitely a ledge.

I wetsanded it and then buffed it out carefully. You wouldnt really even be able to tell that it was there if you didnt know. It was my clear coat for sure, the paint under it was fine. . Im sure it will come back bigger in awhile without spraying it again. I still want to know what it was and who did it. Cologne maybe?

I guess its time to get a new hood soon. And in soon, I mean within the next 7 years.

Yep probably some Boot Camp Aqua Velva. Put a few coats of quick detailer wax to protect her. Yep SRT-10 Hood is on my list too!

 

my trucks doing that too. by the fenders that are bubbling up from rust. it started out small but now its all over for some reason.. truck went from lookin brand new a month ago to lookin like *** fml

Idk matt99 looks like a mineral based solvent did that ; eat the cc and all , lucky the paint is still ok. Glad too hear you got on top of it as well.

 

Definitely looks oil based. Almost like small drops of gasoline or even brake fluid can look like that. Sorry to hear about that bro.
