looks great! Hey is that a steel or fiberglass hood? I've only see that style in fiberglass so just wondering.

It's steel. It's made by reflexxions. It's their "ram air style cowl induction hood"

id have the grill surround painted half blue and half black that follow the lines with the grill itself all black or even black with the machined face.

Give Impact coatings in Edmonton a call we use them for stuff like that.
