Default Shocks pointers, as well as ramble.

If not close it

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EXP-52160/

I decided to stay where I am (height wise)

So I decided to beef up suspension a little. I am wanting to get those up there. And get some CST UCA. This would give me the ability to go into a little more rough terrain without being worried about things breaking.

I am now going to sell my E fan and TB to cover some of the cost of this. I am prob gonna sell a couple other parts that I was going to before i.e. the center storage thing that has the lower console as well.

Only problem is I will most likely want to upgrade my shocks as well. This is where I am a little confused. I currently have the rancho 9000's. They have done great, but if I am going to be hitting a little more rough terrain then I am going to want so better shocks. Anyone have any ideas on that?

Thanks

OE

Are those just taller springs or more absorbent?

You do know those CST UCAs are $800 right?

I know a guy who might can build some for cheaper than that. Ive seen pics of his work and I must say i was impressed.

Why sell the efan and TB though? You also must have a ported TB?

Yeah, ported TB. I felt minimal difference. I figure it was because I have larger tires. SC i felt minimal difference I figured its because I have 4.56 gears. And I don't feel like I have a lack of power except a little top end. These are all low end stuff.

And yes they are a little taller and more absorbent.

I know who you are talking about weed, but he uses chevy ball joint or whatever. And I don't want to ask his price and not order one. If you knew his pricing that would be great.

ITs a mark VIII e fan with the 100 something dollar controller from Felx a lite. I ordered the controller and it has never been installed.

And no Silver no word yet. If I were you I would just order a set from them. Its not that expensive. DDM tuning . com

OKay, update. I don't know if anyone is reading.

But CST is no longer making UCA

Procomp coils are too small for me (drop cross member kit)

So I am going to get the kore end links. I am selling the brand new rough country ones to help pay for it.

I am trying to talk with Kore about their 1500 UCA's they make for their kits. But the problem is their website doesn't work for me to see the price of the entire kit.

I am going to call rough country tomo and see if they can get me a new set of coils. Or if they can get me some larger coils.
