Default 12V Accesory Port no worky

I am thinking its a fuse or wire problem, but I figured I'd ask first before getting into anything.

The cig port works fine, but this one does not when I plug in my GPS.

Which fuse should I check?

Or is it something else?

Thank you
Dan

I'd start with the fuse. And work from there...odds are the GPS caused the fuse to pop?

What year is your truck? the fuse panels are different
This is a diagram for the '06 fuse panel in the engine compartment.

I had that happen to mine when I was hooking up my driving lights, check your fuses under the hood, the owners manual should have a diagram.

I will check when I get home.

its an 04 SLT

Also, does one fuse control both the cig plug AND the power port below the ash tray? Because the cig plug works

I have an 04. they are 2 different fuses. The one on the floor isnt switched, its constantand the Cig lighter is switched. The fuse is under hood. I believe its like #60 something. I will look after work. I had rigged a Cb for a trip and wired the plug backwards and blew it.

In an 04, the power outlet is fuse 25 (20Amp) The Cig lighter is fuse 29 (20Amp) and the Console Outlet is fuse 42 (20Amp)
