Was looking at the Magnaflow 16850...anyone have any experience with this exhaust setup?

 

Is your truck a QC or mega?? I think the kit you see is just for a mega cab, I have my kit from my 08 QC for sale and some guy with a mega came to look at it and it would work but the first straight pipe would have had to be cut down..

I have an 08 1500 QCSB and Im running kit 16699 with no problems, the reason I have that kit although it says for 07 is because I put the exhaust on my truck back in 08 right when I bought it and no one had anything listed for the 08s yet so I just bought the 07 hoping it would work and it did.. See the only difference between the kit your looking at and mine is the first pipe is shorter on yours, thats because the mega cabs Y-pipe is super long and comes halfway under the length of the cab unlike the QC for some reason..

 

I'm running the 16699 with zero problems got around 30000 miles on it. Install was easy and fit great. Can't go wrong with stainless.
