someone needs bitch slapped for letting their pads go like that! WTF???? You do a lot of backing into lakes or keep your truck parked in a pond? No offense but man thats a shame to treat your ride like that.

No, must be the salty winter roads. I wash the undercarriage regularly but I
guess it misses the pads. But you're right, no excuse for letting them get
that worn.
I just did my rear rotors a few weeks ago.One came off easy, the drivers side didnt. After i noticed the oval rubber plug i slapped myself in the head and said doah.Removed the plug and reached in with a screwdriver and backed the emergency brakes off and the rotor slid right off.The E brakes make a groove and lip so its hard to get them shoes by them.I have no idea why i didnt think of this at first. After working on 6,10 and 18 wheelers for years and had to back brakes off all the time to get drums off i should have known better
dude (not trying to threadjack but you just reminded me!! lol) when i replaced my brakes all the way around every single one of my bolts had loctite on them!!! WTF?!?!?! why would they put loctite on a bolt that they know is gonna have to be removed?!?!?!?!
Because I had one back out that didn't have it on there, guess it's a safety issue, because when one of those backs out on you it'll ruin a pad quick
