Yeah I searched but there are about 5 million exhaust threads (really?) So, to save time I'll ask. Right now I have a 6x18 round Magnaflow XL muffler. When I had it installed they used cheap tubing with crappy crinkle bending and the junk chrome tip rusted bad after one winter. Needless to say won't be going back to him again. Even thought it does sound good....it mostly likely wont last long and already looks bad.

Anyway....looking to buy a Magnaflow cat-back 15862, which happens to be a 3" SI/SO system. It seems most Magnaflow owners are happy with their purchase. I would like this to be the last exhaust I put on my truck. I'm sure it will last and sound good....how about the drone? Thanks!

 

i have little to no drone with my mag si/do... the stainless has surface rust but will never rust through (supposedly) the tips are holding up well, i clean them with wd40 and steel wool when they get nasty...
good overall system

No drone here with my magnaflow. Way better sound than with my flowmaster.

 

Loving the sound of my Magnaflow. Mine has a 22in long 5x11 oval muffler, 3in si/so. No drone really, fairly quiet at cruising speeds but still sounds nice at WOT. It does make a tone change when MDS kicks in but its not bad at all.

 

I have a Magnaflow cat back system. I really love both the sound and performance of this system. Very happy with it!
