Hi, Just bought a 02 Ram Quad cab and it has a few problems I'm trying to fix. Just replaced driver door latch because all doors unlocked with power but the drivers door. Also the driver door is the only door that doesn't turn on the dome light and the other day I noticed that the headlight chime and keys in ignition chime don't work either. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Ron

 

check fuses. on older models there is one fuse that controled power mirrors, radio, antenna, door lock on drivers door and chime.

 

The power mirrors and radio are working fine and so does the door lock since I replaced latch. Thinking it has to do with driver door some how or something related to just driver door. Is there a specific fuse or relay that could be the cause?

 

Just checked all fuses and rechecked wires in the door to make sure none were crimped or cut and everything looks fine. Guy I bought it from said dome light stopped working when power door lock quit, figured it would work again after replacing door latch. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

 

haha, that funny cause i forgot to mention the dome light runs on that same circuit.
I would double check all fuses.
Ive only seen it once or twice, but you could be my third!
