As far as I know, there is no DIY yet for plasti dipping rims.

just follow the same as what teach did but use plasti-dip. not sure about clearcoat? im sure it wouldnt hurt tho

 

i duno i havent heard anything of it but i hear armor-all works really good makes them super shiney!

i have a construction class tomorrow morning we have a round sander that just twists back and forth im going to see if i can borrow it make it easier to do the sanding.

 

Someone needs to try this and see how it works.

 

ima do it im not sure when.. but i have to take the wheel weights off my tires first.. the rims are a little messed up from curbs and what not so who knows how itl hold up

to take the wheel weights off can i just pop em off with a hammer and flat head? while the tires on?

 

Yes, you can pop the weights off with a hammer and flat head with the tires on.

 

DONT SAND, just clean degrease and spray.
