It really does sound like that sometimes. I just get tired of being left out all the time. I can see why the 03's get left out bc they have a totally different PCM/TCM setup than all the other years, but what did Dodge do to the 04's that makes them such a problem? TCM support and custom tuning in the same handheld is a dream that I gave up on, just doesn't look like it will ever happen for us 04 guys.

But were not that much ahead of you. Only by 10ft or so. And going out and buying a new truck doesnt help either because then you get back to either no real performance parts or those that are out there cost so much because they are new

 

i have asked sc for a set up like the trinity and diablo for trans support nil from both. nice buy weed definatly a step up from my hyperpac. i wanted one of those bad boys since i first saw it. silly question time now. why can the gas tuners not be programed on the fly like diesel tuners? please dont knock me i dont know a whole lot about engines i just wanna go fast

 

IDK why you cant tune them on the fly honestly. Would be nice for someone to explain. I ordered my cut mount for the Trinity today and analog cable. I dont like the way the Trinity mounts currently via a suction cup on the windshield. It is secure but sometimes will bounce around a bit. Its not bad but I just dont like it. So mounting in the hole of a gauge pod it will be more secure.

 

yeah windsheild mounts suck. i cant tell you how many times i would go to my truck and find the programmer sitting on the dash. then the mounting bracket finally broke.

 

Well as a quick follow-up. After doing some reading I found out that the T1015 Analog cable they use and sell for $25 is nothing but a plain 2.5mm stereo cable with the bare wires on one end. So I cancelled that order and saved $25 and will go buy one for $3 and cut one end off and use it.......

Damn, they almost got me.

 

finally got to see the pics (home computer vs work computer). that thing is SLICK!!! Kinda puts AI to shame...

 

I tried to click on the link in weed's sig that takes you to the gallery but it says I need to sign in. Either way, that setup is slick from the pics I have seen. It is hard to believe tht you have gone from just a basic run of the mill innovate to the sweetest looking setup around in what, a month? Lucky man.
