Default Accessories...?

I have a black 2003 ram 1500 laramie....I like the look without mud flaps but they do keep crap from flipping on this side of the truck etc...any opinions? what about those clear stick ons to go on the lower side?

I see a lot of trucks with off road lights behind their grill...can you just get any set of off road lights? how are you installing them? thanks

I also like the new stock 5 spoke 20" wheels (alloy) coming on the newer dodge trucks. I have a set of the chrome 5 spoke (wide spokes) 20" wheels..any opinions on which is better looking?
also, I was thinking about looking into getting some rims with black and chrome??

yea look at bushwacker flares, or just ebay dodge ram flares...mudflaps are ugly

The 06-08 20s are IMO the best looking rims dodge has put on their trucks, and I wouldnt trade mine for just about any aftermarket rims...Depending on what you like, you can get yours powdercoated or try and find a set of the ones like ours on craigslist. Those new KMCs look good, Slide is the model I think.

looks like ur truck has a street theme going on, i wouldnt get flares or mudflaps. if u want different rims look into the srt10 wheels. but if you are looking for the offroad look get some flares

I just got the truck but i plan on keeping the street look, i don't do a lot of off roading. I was told there are some clear stick-on protectants that fit right onto the panels...anyone kbnow what i'm talking about or tried them?

yea 3m makes them, alot of the GM trucks have them and an infinity g35 I bought had them over the front of the hood. They are just clear acrylic I think

You cant really see them so unless you have tires that stick out a lil bit, you dont really need them.

If you are going for the street truck look then there are a few cheap things you can do. Drop shackles for the back take out the OL spring, roll pan looks great. You are a lucky bastard and have a sport kit so no need to paint the bumpers
