edit: We got a guy in town that run's a stealership who has a red QC SRT, he's got some freakin sexy goodies on that thing. The exhaust just purrs and o god its just amazing. He even has nice little go fast bottle called NOS and he has a purge kit that he can purge the spray from the wiper cowl. I wanna ask him to gimme a ride in it but I'm scared I'll stain the seat.

Yea I talked with him quite abit about your gen 1 hood before I bought mine lol. He convinced me is was worth getting so, here it is.







Damn, the hood is nice but hot damn was eric's srt10 effin awesome. Like a dummy I forgot my camera but he showed me the powdercoated engine bay and fired it up for me. He said he's got a ton more money in mods than what the truck was worth originally. Most of the engine is custom and just plain sexy. When he throttled it I basically thought I was in front of a jet engine, friggin made my ears want to bleed and it shook the stuff in his garage. It makes just under 1000hp...for now. He hasnt raced it yet, just dynod, I asked him why and he showed me his 1938 something or other hotrod that he races. The hotrod runs the 1/4 in the low 8s. He's going to try to get up to bremerton's track and he's gunna have me come along so I can get the truck on video. Since I've been back home, I've been on craigslist scouting for a new truck lol. It's simply unbelievable, just gotta see it.


Oh and back to hoods, he also had a gen two hood. The quality is almost perfect. For those that dont know about the venom hoods, there are two different venom hoods that look almost identical but different makers. Since tony (the guy that sells the venom hoods) switched manufactures of the hoods, there havent been any problems like with the gen 1 hoods. The one I got will need some minor finish work along the outside and on the lip of the scoop but thats it. Can't wait to get it installed
