My exhaust sounded strange at idle yesterday so I crawled under to find my Magnaflow muffler split at the weld. So I figure no big deal it has a lifetime warranty. I pull out the air compressor, impact etc., but can't loosen the clamp. It's rusted on pretty good. OK so I need to cut the clamp off if the penetrating fluid doesn't work. Now I have 2 concerns. First when I get the clamp off will I be able to get the exhaust system apart to replace just the muffler I'm afraid the clamps have crimped the pipe so I may need a whole new cat back. Second concern is I bought this cat back on line from Planet Magnaflow 3 years back and installed it myself, will Magnaflow or a Magnaflow dealer honor the warranty?
