I erased the code with the superchip and i am hopeing it wont return. When i filled up last time the gas pump messed up and poured gas all over the ground as well as over filled the tank. I was hopeing someone would charm in and let me know if indeed this was a possibility.

Check or change your gas cap, sometimes thats the problem, Ive been told this code happens also with something inside the gas tank. Also check your hoses underneath the truck on the charcoal canister etc. I did all of these but still get the medium evap leak p0446. The purge solonoid is in the tank I believe, not sure though

Thx for the reply. I cleared the code and drove it a good distance and it seems to be ok. I allways thought the gas cap would trigger a code but when tightened the code would go away if it was the problem. DO you have to clear the code?? Is that the only way it goes away on a dodge?? I know GM will clear itself in most cases for a gas cap. Thats what threw me off.

I keep getting p0442 adn p0445, basically the same problems, hoses, gas cap etc...I erased the code after checking the gas cap (easiest thing to check) but it came back so i will be searching for the hoses and checking clamps next to see if there is a leak or a busted hose somewhere.

I've been told the stock hoses and clamps aren't that great.

Yea I will have to agree, not an expert here either. The cap seems to fit fine. I posted about my problem a while back and that's when i was told to check the fuel lines and clamps to look for a small leak etc.
