Ramin a ram got himself a ram. Love it. Wish that kind of fun was reasonably close to me, but I've more than once gone out to the fun in my childhood Haven't had the pleasure of big game though.

yes i took out the ol 270 . first time i got to use it on anything , because we cant use rifles in illinois to hunt .
dad used a 243 . both did the trick .
and it was in southern mo. only took 4 hrs from me one way .

 

ha haaa funny thing was i have been told that by the folks i showed the pics to . i said ya this is what a mega should look like . wonder if i sent this to dodge if they would realise these megas need a lift from the factory lol

We've got so many open hay fields back home that I hunt, I've always used my 243. It doesn't have all the knock down power people like. But, when you can put a bullet within a 1/4" of your target at 400yds, I'll take it.

The buck just behind your Fathers wall hanger is pretty sweet. prob small for you, but up here...that's one heck of a find.

Now you can drive a Ram and hang one on your wall too.

dog thats my buddies shop he does work for allot of people around the world , including bass pro , ect .. that buck bealive it or not came out of michigan and thats record size for them . hear in illinois thats a average 4 year old . funny story i drove from MO after the kill straight to my buddies place not stopping home to show the wife . i got home and she just said ..."got another dead animal to hang on the wall " i just said yep. so she wanted to see so i showed her some pics ....to my supprise she said " i think it will look good if we moved the buck over the fire place and put it there" I was shocked . out off all the animals hangin in the living room she never gave me tips on where to put them lol....think i could get her to pull the trigger on one ???
