Default Factory Trailer Hitch ??
Has anyone ever installed the factory receiver hitch part, back on to the main hitch that's bolted on the frame? How do you get the bolts back in through the tube of the hitch?

I did this about 6 years ago, If I remember right I fished them using a wire twisted into sort of a spring that I then screwed the bolt into and carefully pulled them out of the hole where I could get at them.

Yep thats how i did mine, the wire came in the kit.

feed the wire through then just tug the bolt after it. Go easy on it so it doesn't fall off and become a PITA

I got lucky and found a complete one off a 02 wrecked 1/2 ton. I put that one, i think i paid like 35 bucks for it. I didn't like how the mopar just bolted too it.
