oh frog, you're the greatest haha. thanks for all the comments guys. ive also never been a fan of these old wheels and tires, but because they still had ok tread on them, I couldnt justify spending the go-fast mod money into getting new ones. After trying to use these garbage x-terrain m/t's in the snow here, i knew i had to do something about it before next winter, so the search began.
I've loved the trail grapps from the day they were announced, and had I been ready to buy then, I would have been the first buyer of them. It was a long hard search for the wheels -- I kept going back and forth on certain ones. I'm really picky about wheels. I couldnt be happier with these though.
As for the burnout -- we'll see. I sold the old wheels and tires locally, but he will be out of town until mid-june so that leaves some time to play. He was really only interested in the wheels, but is gonna use the tires as well as a temp fix with his new body lift/level, so i gotta leave a little rubber on em.
edit: oh yeah -- after the proceeds from the sale of the old wheels/tires, these new wheels only cost about $20 each
