I have a K&N 77 kit and it looks similar to that one. Some folks have commented that the metal tubes raise the inlet temperature. I haven't seen proof of this. But don't really know.

Can't beat the price, but I ran a dual Bombz for about a month and most of the grommets deteriorated quickly in the heat and yep the tube gets Hot. In my case I went back to the factory hat and K&N Filter as I found Zero improvement from that Bombz set-up. And the TB spacer they give you is useless.

The K&N seems to be popular in the DF Pole (avail in plastic tubing too).

There are too many varying opinions, Personnally I am leaning towards a functional SRT-10 hood set-up but am limited in that as those choices with appropriate adapters are Volant (keep the factory Hat) or Mopar (less the paperweight TB spacer that comes with it and the fact it's metal).

I got a Airaid MIT with K&N drop in. Effective, simple. But it all boils down to what you are willing to spend + what you think looks good. You really arent going to notice much difference if any at all between the Home depot cai and the $600 super duper mega awesome blingin mcgee cai. A good quality filter connected to a tube located in a good location suited to your needs will yield sufficient results. The rest is marketing.
