yea i like this forum ...... but the diesel dont run , pull or get better mpg the the hemi i had i had a 2004 single cab dually with the hemi in it and it pulled that trailer just as good the only reason i traded was because it had 165000 miles and the trans went out while i was on the road and they financed me lol
I'm a noob and knew that....at least I put a link up....thanks again, SilverBullet.
And 3500, I didn't mean anything by my comment above, just kidding around like the other guys on here. I've been having issues posting pics myself lately.
Not sure if you have a Camping World near (I see you're into the RV thing like me), but I was in the one near me the other day and they are clearing out the Banks Ram-Air Intake kits because they were never big sellers for them. At the store in Tampa, they're normally $389, but I picked one up for my truck for $259 over the weekend - that's a steal for anything with the banks name on it. Might be worth a shot to see if the store closest to you has one to fit your truck, it's a good starting point for mods.
.... but the diesel dont run , pull or get better mpg the the hemi i had
The diesel takes a while to "break in"...mine only has 21k miles on her and guys tell me it usually doesn't "break-in" good until around 40k - 50k. Right now I get 14-15 mpg pulling my 35', 14,000 lb 5th wheel down the interstate at 70 mph.
I don't know much about the new 6.7L but I've been WAY impressed with my 5.9L, and in time I think you will be with yours.
i have a hard time believing that the new cummins doesn't pull or get better mpg than the hemi. If the hemi can tow the trailer fine then the cummins should tow it like its not even back there.
