Took the Hellas off the truck...
For all that troll searchin he does.
Looks great Hammer. he Hellas are great for confined areas due to their thin case, but for durability.....I think you found the answer.
You'll have to buy some stock in Mothers' for all that polishing your gonna need to do on a regular basis now.

Flitz man, just Flitz! A little dab rubbed onto aluminum, chrome or stainless steel once every couple of months shines that stuff up like nothing I've ever used before!!!
and I agree, the Hellas are a perfect behind the grill solution, but not out on a chrome or stainless grill guard, bull bar or light bar! Maybe on a black one, but I still think for out in the open use, a black steel housed light would be a better solution...

Dick Cepek lights look pretty sweet though, how much does a set of those usually cost?
From what I got from the salesman where I got them, they are KC Daylighters (and I'm sure they are or at least are 100% clones, because they are the same right down to the rubber mounting grommets) that were made for Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek BEFORE they were bought by Cooper Tire. Cooper supposedly had no interest in the off-road accessory division and closed it, leaving KC with a container of these lights branded for Cepek on the way over from China.
This particular company bought the container and has been selling them thru their website and on ebay.
This being the case, the KC Daylighter is $110 PER LIGHT (not pair) on the KC website, although I'm sure they can be had for much less off the 'net. I got the bid on the 5" 130 watt stainless pair for $38 plus $12 shipping and one of the sets of the 6" for $44 and the other for $49 plus $13 shipping.
Last I looked on ebay, they still had a number of them left in 5" and 6", 100 and 130 watt in both chrome and stainless with about 4 or 5 different color covers but they were selling them in lots of 4 or 6 on bids. They still had pairs for the "buy it now" price which is still pretty killer. Anybody interested on jumping on this, PM me and I'll send you a link...
