Question about lift?
I just read this for sale ad on a local classifieds site.......
"I am looking to remove my long arm lift from my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500. I am looking for stock suspension parts. Coils, shocks, pitman arm, upper and lower control arms. Will consider swapping lift parts for stock parts, but parts are in need of painting. Unsure of actual lift size 4-5" enough to run 37" tires."
My question is will this fit my truck? Would you do this trade?

Is the lift kit off a 4x4 truck? If so, I'm pretty sure it would work, but certainly dont take my word for it -- im mostly versed in the 1500's. The only issue you would have is if Dodge used a different suspension between 03-05 and 06-08 like they did with the 1500's IFS. I know you're all SFA, so im pretty sure its all coils.
If you can confirm that it will work, 100% do it. Thats a decent lift for only the cost of labor -- which is hopefully just time for you

I just found out that the lift is a skyjacker. The lift consists of rear blocks, u bolts, front upper and lower control arms, coil springs, pitman arm, and bracket to lower the drag link. He has 4 brand new shocks to go with it, along with the skyjacker's. It was on a 2004 2500 quad cab 4x4 diesel.
What do ya think.....

So, I have been looking around at the skyjacker lifts, and it seems the only ones I can find either have skyjacker's add a leaf or skyjackers soft ride rear leaf springs. I can't find any with blocks for the rear.
Anyone comment on this?

He may have bought the kit quite a few years ago and that's what skyjacker offered at the time and has since changed to add a leafs.
If you go to skyjacker.com all the kits that fit diesel and gas motors in 2004 2500's are all compatible with the 2007 2500's. It should most definitely fit.

Even though skyjacker has the same part numbers listed for the gas and diesel lift? Just asking.
