You'll need some effort. All I did to remove the plug, I reached over and dropped a spark plug socket in the hole, followed by a 3 inch extension, then I used my 1/2" swivel head ratchet with a 1/2 to 3/8th adapter on it. That gave me the room to clear the bumps on the valve covers. Broke the plug loose, removed the ratchet itself and unscrewed the plug by hand the rest of the way. Then with both hands, I leaned over and carefully removed each extension section and pulled the plug out. Pretty much replaced the plugs the same way. The hardest part about those rear plugs in my opinion was reattaching the coilpack. I used a 1/4" swivel ratchet and stuck my hand back there to try and grasp the bolt heads with the socket and slowly tightened them the best I could.

Autozone sells the sparkplug socket with a swivel and extension built into it. I found it helped me a lot. I was able to drop them in the deep hole and thread by hand. Then I'd use the socket wrench for final tightening.
Got It last night. Not nearly as bad as I thought. 2 spark plugs per cylinder. Be sure to use di-electric grase, the spark plug socket AND spark plug boot will come off a lot easier!
