My dad had westin steps on his ford when he bought it(it was 1 yr old.) They were already starting to rust a little bit around the plastic step inserts. Within another year, they were rusted so bad that one day he went to step on one ind it broke right in half. After that he put on Ford ones and they have been on there ever since with no signs of rust. So I'm not really a fan of the Westin steps at all...

WOW! I've had two sets of Westins and two sets of "clone" nerfs and I had nothing but problems with both of the "clone" ones, from pitting right down to a step pad flying off on the highway and bending.
But I've NEVER had an issue with either of the Westins. My current platinum series stainless ones are over 4 years old now and still look like new! I've weighed as much as 320# (although I'm down to about 275 now) and they've never moved even a fraction of an inch. Just how the hell big are some of you guys?
I always professed to guys to NOT spend $150 on fleabay ones and spend the $300 on Westins. But I dunno if I could lay out over $500 for those TrailFX ones...
