no if you run into freezing your running into an airflow problem across the coils. Are your lines in the engine compartment frosting over or are you seeing condensation on them, its possible you may have a faulty compressor. but youll see that in the guages with a tremendous amount of flutter, the needles will flutter so fast you wont see the ends

The metal lines in the engine compartment condensate, but I have never seen frost on them. When the original problem I posted about occured, by the time I had the chance to check anything out, it was all working normally again. The gauges fluctuate a little only when the compressor kicks on and off. If I continue to have the freezing fits, I will post back. Thanks for all of your help.

if it happens again i would see if that vent is fully closed in circulation mode, it should stay open just a lil bit to allow fresh air in the cab about 10%

Will look into that more. When I checked to see if the door was working at first iirc it was closing all the way.
