keep the stock 20's or trade for some pro comp 18's?
should i trade my stock 20s? my tires have 12,000k on them so he said he'd accept an even trade. oh and what style are those pro comps? i wanna do a chop
I have a set of Pro Comp Extreme Wheels for a Dodge ram 1500 5 lug (18x9) and Toyo Open Country A/T tires (285/65/18 with 80% tread remaining) that I am wanting to trade for a set of factory 20's with tires that are in excellent shape. If your tires are not in good shape I would still trade but it would cost you $500 cash with the swap. The set on my truck are less than a year old and have around 10,000 miles on them. These tires are about the same size in height as the factory 20's so your speedometer will not be affected. The wheels are the black chrome or gunmetal. This set is currently on my truck so I cannot sale without getting a set back that I can put on my truck.

I like the 20's, seems like you'ld be working backwards to go to an 18. But if that's what you like then go for it. I think you'ld be farther ahead to sell your rims out right and buy new 18's. Stock 20's seem to be in high demand, 18's can be found for pretty cheap.
i listed my stock 20's on CL. listed them for 600 which i thought was low compared to people saying they got like 800-900. everyone that called me said 400 or 500. thats the problem w/ car stuff on CL in dallas. its very...no racism meant...hispanic and thats basically what all my calls have been from. cant even understand what people are saying half the time and ive had oh lets see...13 years of spanish class under my belt!
I went from the old-style "flower" 20's down to 17" Pro Comp wheels, though I also went with Pro Comp 33" A/T tires (same diameter as stock Goodyears). I HATED the stock rims and those tires. If you spit on them, they would lose traction. I wanted as small as you could go. I did it for function over appearance (though I like the way they look... a lot).
I like the '07-'09 20" wheels a lot. If you are only looking for street use out of the wheels and tires, I'd stay with what you have unless you really, really want to change them just for the sake of changing them to something not stock. I'm personally not a big fan of those particular PC's, but everyone's tastes are different.
