I personally would remove the O/L in writing it sounds complicated as hell but it really isn't hard at all, I'm gonna be removing mine when I get my shackles put on. If young Shiloh is brave enough to give it a shot and can do it right surely you can too I really don't like the idea of the spring clamps, it's basically like putting a load on your leafs. Imagine putting a few hundred pounds in the back and then clamping the spring where it's at under a load, that's all the clamps really do and I don't see how it could be good for your ride quality or your leafs.

Theres really nothing to screw up, worst comes to worst you'll just have to put the O/L back in which isn't really a big deal.

Its really easy, I have had to take them off before to be able to install an add a leaf, and its really easy, Just make sure you have a good quality c-clamp available to you to be able to put the leaf pack back together easily.
