I bid on an exhaust with my trusty trigger finger and before I realized (or double checked my eyes) I had bid on a Mega cab exhaust. Within 12 hours, no bid retraction. I won and for cheap......but

Now without ever looking under a MC, I have no idea how they differ exhaust-wise. I have a QC

"Upon checking our catalog, the Volant Exhaust System that we carry are only compatible for the 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 75.9 Inches Bed, Crew Cab Pickup.

Unfortunately, we do not stock an Exhaust System for the 73 inches bed size. Please check your local dealer or auto parts store for availability."


Is 2.9 inches something that can easily be cured ? MC has longer cab, but shorter bed. QC shorter cab, longer bed.Good muffler shop should be able to make fit, or am I way off ?


Volant is doing away with their MC exhaust.

 

Your muffler shop won't have any problem taking a few inches out of the head pipe.

 

Cool, thanks. That's what I thought. I figured they have to be close. So which do you think is the longer ? They didn't specify.

Is the MC kit going to be longer than a QC kit ?
QC has 6.5ft bed
MC has 6ft bed , right ?
