BFGs are made from hard rubber. That's why they last so long. The problem is that hard rubber is crap for traction.

The bfg's my dad had along with my friends were the exact opposite, they wore out way too early. Now everyone has nitto terra grapplers. For the OP go down to your tire shop and order nitto terra grappler 305/70/17 tires on 17" wheels. They are load E you dont need to do anything to 2500 suspension but for my 1500 i had to level it. They are 34's. I have those with kmc xd addict wheels with no rub at all. My dad has the exact same tire on his 7.3 diesel F-350 long bed and are a great tire. Cheap and long lasting.

Rockstar's are over played for sure. I see them more than factory rims sometimes. BFG sucks!!!!!!!! I've run 'em a couple times unfortunately because I didn't learn my lesson. I had 'em on my ranger that was lifted and a 4wd. They suck on water and don't clean themselves in the mud. They are nasty loud on the street and every two years I had to get a new set. Over rated for sure. Nitto Terra Grapps are what I'm running now for an a/t, they are a great tire.

If you want to think your truck can keep up with mine... good for you.

You like those tires, I think they suck. Are we done here?

I had 35" BFG A/T KO's on my 2001 1500 QC. They weren't that loud on the road, lasted forever, but truely did suck in the mud. They didn't clean themselves out for $hit. Weren't too bad in snow either. Just put NTG's on my Mega, I'll let you know on them in about 30k miles.

BFG's are way too overpriced. I like my Toyo A/T's just fine. also, toyo and nitto have a 5000 mile guarantee on them. ask your tire dealer. if you dont like them after 5000 miles, they take them back.

Hard Rubber Tires! perhaps thats what I need to do a burnout as the Pro-Comps are too sticky. For the OP Lady IMO an 18" rim is a cool choice and will look good with that 8 bolt set-up and there are many sizes available as the Furds run 18's and you will not sacrifice the smooth ride.

Wow! Thanks guys! But I sure didn't mean to start any wheel opinion wars! I will take all advice and research alittle more.
Hopefully by tomorrow my pretty red girl will be sporting some great new shoes!
