Possibly Blend Door Defect
I have a 02 Ram 1500 QC. I had the leaking heater core replaced this past winter. Now I have an issue with the AC. The dash vents on the driver side work fine and cold. the vents on the passenger blow air, but not cold air. I am leaning on a blend door but unsure where to locate it to check it. I do not have a split side AC control to separate the driver's side from the passenger side. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
If I remember correctly, this has been talked about many many times on here. You can use the search function up at the top and search for threads, or even posts, dealing with the issue.
I myself am not familiar with it, though, so I apologize that I cant give you any further input except help you locate the information.

There are two doors. The blend door located in the center of the dash and the mode door located under the passenger side dash. I had the mode door break on my '06, which it then fell down on top of the blower motor and blocked the air flow. My mode door was replaced under warranty at dealer. If the airflow will not change between the floor and panel vents, the mode door is broken. I think Dodge should have been forced to do a recall on this, seems like a very common problem.
