Default Seat belts sensor question

Hey everyone,

I just recently purchased an 02 dodge ram 1500 4.7 v8. My question is I have a couple seat belts to replace the front driver and passenger side but they have no sensor. They are about 1/6 of the price of ones with sensors, and the air bag light comes on when I disconnect the sensor on the retractor. Anybody know how I might get the air bag light to turn off? Is that going to create any safety issues?

Thanks,
Ty

I got them from OEM parts, its a standard retractable seat belt for front and passanger. The only difference in what I had and what I got was the sensor and paid 50 bucks a seat belt over 200 or so for the ones with from my dealer around here. Unless you know of a placecould get one with for not too much more?

You could find a guy who is parting out a Dodge Ram and get his for cheap.
