Cool hey everyone

i am new to this site, i have 2 trucks 08 ram 1500 and a 97 ram 1500 i would post pics but they have another forums decals on them and well i dont want to get band LOL, i look forward to talking to all of you. i do have a first question why would my ac make a high pitch noise when i turn the steering wheel?

you wont get banned I dont think... as to answer your question, check your power steering fluid, if thats good then it may just be from the belt spinning faster to power things which may pick up your ac a little... just an idea, I honestly dont know...

You sure it's your AC making the high pitched noise and not your power steering pump??? Just a thought there my friend.

I'd have someone listen under the hood when you turn the wheel. It may be the steering pump but it only does it when the ac is on because there's load. The ac has nothing to do with the power steering system other than being turned by the serpentine belt.

the only other thing i could say is my compressor sounds really bad when it kicks on it makes a loud boom almost every time
