I love black but it is the biggest pain to clean, it shows even the smallest of scratches.

After having a black truck, I will NEVER own a black car again or any dark color. I would go just a plain jane white sport model and if you wan the bling then go far enough to color match the door handles and mirrors. IMO all white with tinted windows and black wheels look the best. Every chrome piece on the truck make it white or black. Also have you ever washed a white car HAHA. its almost possible to wash and not even dry, where as black i have to dry then come back with a bottle of spray wax to remove all the water spots then come back with a dry cloth to remove the weird swirl haze that the wax left, then when you drive around the block there is always the water that drips from the handles or hood that you have to come back and dry again. Dont get me wrong black is the best looking color when cleaned up but after 30 min is the worst looking color.

Ah, good to know I'm not the only one with that problem. I thought it may have been from the one or two times I did a burnout on gravel but its happening on all 4 corners right behind the tires. All 3 vehicles I've owned were all black though I never really noticed on the first 2 cause they were beaters and I rarely ever washed them.

the three of you are officially ousted from the black truck club.

seriously though, i love black. its the only color i'll own. the trick to it not showing scratches or swirls is not get any!! or take care of them right away if you do

Depending on were you live would make a difference in the color to me. I own a black truck and I love it when its clean but I live in south louisiana and let me tell you it gets freakin HOT during the summer and have to run the ac on high just about the whole time i'm in it.
