CV boot replacement - Alternatives to buying the special clamps/tool?
Replacing the boot on my driver side inner CV joint and bought universal CV joint clamps, and am having limited success tightening them enough. Can a hose clamp be used? Are there any techniques I can use to tighten these and save the $30 for the tool I'll probably use once?
