lmao thats great weedahoe!. I would just try a bunch of screws like said before.....I have a whole drawer in my toolbox just for things like this.

I agree, I never throw away bolts, nuts or washers. You never know when you will need them

I have mine wrapped in tape, you cant tell by looking at it though. I tried to do what VA did with his with that bracket but the first time you have to remove it you'll be kicking yourself that you didn't just wrap it up cause with the tape you can slide it out and not have to take everything apart again and re assemble it. I had a connector come loose on mine and everytime I hit a bump it would shake loose so I was constantly having to take the whole a-pillar off to fix it only to have to redo it the next weekend.

I also had an issue with the tape during the summer, it kept melting (when its 115* outside it makes the inside an oven). But that just takes some looking around to find the right tape/rubber sleeve that wont do that.

I also have a drawer full of nuts and bolts. I guess I can try a screw that I have laying around, but I am just worried that if I use the wrong one, I will damage the a-pillar and not be able to use the screw hole again.

thats why they make taps if you jack up the threads you can re tap them not to big of a deal
