Default Stereo guru needed--Question about aftermarket HU

I've been looking at buying a 7inch motorized screen since the price is right. I have the non nav/non infinity plane jane factory set up, so with the dash kit will be single DIN. I've found the one I want to order but I want to make sure Im not going to have to return it and wait even longer to install do to it not fitting. Does anyone know if I can go with the 7inch fold DOWN vs the fold UP, or am I going to be limited to the fold ups only. I looked at the sonicelectronix site and it says that it will not work, but Im almost positive that it will. Anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance.

Yeah pic or model number. Because when you say 7" fold down and flip up, that sounds more like a single DIN HU with a motorized face.

I have a DD HU in my truck and it is a 7" and the front screen will let down so you can load CD/DVD behind it but I just wanna make sure thats what you are talking about.

And if it is then yes it will fit. There are pics in my sig link below

My bad, something along the lines of this http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...R-7022NRB.aspx It kinda gives me the 2Din feel without having to change my bezel.

Just to make sure you know, that doesnt have NAVI but has NAVI input.

But that will work in your truck with the NAVI or DD bezel and the right wiring harness.

yeah i know it doesn't have the navi, but i can get the navibox-1 for that and theres another attachment called dtv-1 i think for tv stations. Im not worried about the nav, I can always get the attachment to add to it for like 200ish. The only thing im worried about is, taking out the crap *** factory HU which is considered 1.5 DIN or as they call it "oversized", installing the dashkit for the single DIN and then this not fitting. I think it should work just fine, may just close off my little storage compartment a little bit, but thats not really that big of a deal. I was just trying to see if anyone else had any experience with the single DIN fold down HU's.

Mine is a single DIN fold UP head unit, but that doesnt change anything as far as fitment goes. That'll fit no problem.

If it fits in the hole, it'll work. Plain and simple ^.^

Dont bother with the TV add-on unless it receives digital stations. Remember we moved away from analog stations
