Default Sounds like water is running through my dash..

I haven't driven my ram in about 4 days, and when I start it up, turn on the the A/C, and then start accelerating... it sounds like water is dripping/running through my dash. Its only only temporary, but does last a little bit. Any idea why??

Check and make sure your coolant is full in the rad as it could be the sound of the water+air going through the heater core.

Or it could be the AC drain hose is clogged. It is a small, maybe 1/2" hose that exits the firewall in the engine bay below the heater core lines

What you could also be hearing is the flow of refrigerant going through the A/C coil until the system is running stable, may have some oil mixed w/ the refrigerant. The one thing I would definetly check in terms of the A/C system is that the condenser fan is running when the A/C is running. If not, this causes a very high pressure condition which will shorten the life of the compressor, and won't work very well as heat removal only happens when there is good air flow through the coil. If the fan is not working, I strongly suggest NOT using the A/C until its repaired.
