Is there anyway that makes it so the computer doesn't learn how you drive? I love to drive it hard, and then a few weeks later I can not pull from a dead stop with out the truck jerking really hard and spinning the wheels if they're on gravel. I don't like the idea of resetting the pcm every week, but I do like how it drives after it gets reset. Are there any chips out there that will make it so it always drives the same, or can the dealer do that?
To my knowledge there is really nothing to be done to prevent the computer from learning your habits. IMO looks like you will be reseting your pcm or your driving habits for now.
Yep, you are going to have to continue to reset. The PCM learns because it is programmed to do so. This is not a hardware feature but software so it cannot be changed.
