looks hot man.... i need to order some flares for my truck due to my negative offset on my rims and wider tires. Lovin the blacked out look. You should consider debaging the ram 1500
All right had some spare time so I finally put my flares on today. Looks pretty good I think.
I think next will be the Hella light mod...and I'm still waiting for my drop shackles to come in. I ordered them a couple of weeks ago from Moes, but still not here yet.
what make of flares did u use im currently lookiing for a low profile flare like yours .How far out do they stick in inches
Looks good. My flares got in yesterday. Just gotta paint them now, if I can find the time.
What kind of flares did you get...maybe some pocket style for that lifted badboy.

Wish i had time to do a photo log on the process but didn't. However was not too hard. There were no instructions but I don't think you need any for flares. They have 3m auto tape recessed along the top edge and the bottom edge attaches to existing screw points inside the wheel well. The stock bolt screws were long enough so I didn't use the ones provided with the flares. However with the back set of flares I drilled an additional hole on the top portion of the wheel well and painted over the bare metal and used a clip-nut there so that i can add an additional screw up there for more support. Also added two clip-nuts and screws to the two holes on the forward part of each of the rear wheel wells. So the rear flares have a total of 5 screws holding them in. The fronts were fine with the 3 existing wheel well screw points holding them. Of course I prepped the surface where the tape was going to adhere for obvious reasons. Once I got the flares lined up, screwed on and held in place (there were no pre-drilled holes on the flares by the way so I just used an awl to make some starter holes) I just removed about 10 inches of tape at a time and incrementally attached sections of the flare this way until done. Hope this helps.
