Default Awd to 2wd conversion... What does it take?

Hey guys so I have a guy I work with who was asking me about converting his Ram into a 2wd.

We're wondering what it's going to take to do this, or if it's even possible?

Any responses would be GREATLY appreciated!

for better gas mileage? or why would he want to do this?

my front axle went out on my durango, i left the half shafts bolted to the wheel hubs and completly removed the front axle .. no more 4x4 , although still had the transfer case..

He doesn't want to lose 4wd he just wants to get out of the auto awd.

He wants to be able to smoke em off when he wants (currently building a 392 for it)
