stuck between two trucks
south florida, these are priced pretty well compared to everything else around here.
that's because it's extended cab
but, the back has a good amount of room.

OK, this is a no brainer. Lets not even consider the fact that I'm a Dodge fanatic. The Dodge is a year newer, less miles and has approximately the same HP with an engine that's .7 litres smaller. If the leather seats are what's holding you up, they can be added to the Dodge for just under $700 and a little elbow grease.
LEATHER SEATS
But ultimately, the choice IS YOURS!

Well let me give you my input, i own a dodge, and im a dodge ram all the way. But between the 2 trucks that your looking at i would go with the ford. I rented one for a week and they have came along way, they are great trucks.
LOL... Should I add in my input, now that I drive a ford? hahah Am I allowed? hahah
First of all, I want to say that autotrader is the chit. I have found my past three vehicles including my wife's Yukon, Acura and my powerstroke. I think there are some good deals to be had, and gives you an options, if your willing to drive for a vehicle.
Out of the two vehicles that you have posted, which is what you were asking about, I would pick the Dodge. I loved my 4.7, it was reliable, and there is a decent market for aftermarket parts. I wanted leather when I bought my dodge, but ended up liking my cloth seats after a couple of months. I really dont see an advantage over the dodge with the ford. Dodge looks better, probably runs better if the mods are significant, its a quad cab and its a vehicle you know; which is a major when it comes to being comfy with a pickup purchase.
The only reason why I bought my powerstroke over a dodge was because the Cali prices for a Mega Cab are ridiculous as compared to the GM's and Fords. Whe it came down to the regular quad cab trucks, I liked the Powerstroke better.
With all that said, I would think that there are a little bit better deals out there, but I dont live in your area. I had to drive two hours for my truck, and five hours for my wifes Acura.
